The Opportunity:
We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Chief Executive Officer to lead the company into its next stage of growth. The ideal candidate has a strong history of capital raising in the renewable energy or advanced materials space and excels in driving business outcomes through strategic leadership and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company’s growth strategy to position it as a leader in the clean energy sector
- Fundraising: Lead capital raising efforts from early-stage funding through later rounds or public market strategies.
- Operations Management: Direct the company’s daily operations, focusing on efficiency and delivering on key performance indicators.
- Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, including partnerships, strategic alliances, and market expansion.
- Financial Leadership: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to set budgets, monitor financial health, and ensure long-term stability.
- Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary representative to investors, regulatory bodies, strategic partners, and the company’s board.
- Sustainability and Innovation: Champion initiatives that advance the company’s position in renewable energy innovation.
- Team Development: Build a high-performance leadership team and foster an inclusive, purpose-driven workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in raising significant capital (7–9 figures) within renewable energy, clean tech, or related sectors.
- Strong leadership experience, ideally including growth-stage startups or public company executive roles.
- Deep network and established credibility within investor and energy markets.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to effectively advocate for the company’s mission.
- High emotional intelligence, integrity, and ability to foster trust
- Technical knowledge of energy, materials, or related technologies is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred but not required.
