Position Overview:
As a key leader within the firm, you will play a pivotal role in growing their brand presence in Charlotte and the Piedmont Carolinas region. Reporting to the Regional Executive, Piedmont Carolinas, you will lead a dynamic team of department managers, project managers, technical engineers, technicians, and support staff at their Cornelius office. With the full support of established technical resources, you will have the opportunity to expand their reach and impact in new and exciting directions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture client relationships to expand the firm's presence in Charlotte and the surrounding region.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and diversify their services and client base.
- Lead efforts to grow the opportunities pipeline through the adoption of CRM and client management strategies.
- Collaborate with and support other firm disciplines and service lines to maximize synergies and deliver exceptional results.
- Set and achieve profitability and growth goals for the office, ensuring quality service and timely deliverables.
- Take ownership of the office's overall performance, including high-level client interactions, technical review, and financial management.
- Foster an environment of enjoyment and collaboration within the team, driving engagement and productivity.
- Establish and nurture contacts and connections within the Charlotte market and surrounding region to further the firm's reputation and reach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or equivalent field.
- PE licensure in NC (or ability to obtain PE within 3 months of hire), PLA/RLA, or AICP.
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills to effectively engage with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Firm understanding of risk management principles and loss prevention strategies.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, and relevant technical software.
- Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and meet the company's driving (MVR) policy requirements.
