Branch / Environmental Manager – Asbestos Abatement and Lead Remediation
Sequence has been exclusively retained and is currently seeking a capable Environmental Branch Manager/Project Manager to establish a new Phoenix Branch operation for one of the industry’s most exciting and vibrant abatement and remediation organizations. A 50+ year corporation, the organization offers a full range of asbestos abatements, mold/microbial remediation and lead abatement services.
This is currently the most high-profile position of its type in Arizona.
An organization with multiple branches throughout the Southwest/Southeast, this role includes responsibility for managing regional operations and building relationships with clients (Consultants, Contractors, Facilities representative) in a manner to create bidding opportunities and execute work.
The right candidate would be able to function independently and have a demonstrated passion for and thorough understanding of abatement and remedial activities. Also, proven sales/marketing, estimating and project management skillset.
Key duties include:
- Establish, oversee and run all branch operation activities; heavily supported and backed by corporate resources and infrastructure.
- Develop, submit, search for and follow up on bid leads from various sources including those from iSqft, Blue Book and other industry lead sources
- Walk projects, create bids, assist with pre-project set up, pre-job documentation, and post project documentation
- Provide project management for all job
- Attend pre-bid meetings, pre-construction meetings, construction progress meetings and gather
- project information as needed on own projects as well as on other projects not directly manager
- as requested
- Analyze and compile historical job data
- Supervise and ensure safe keeping of company assets
- Supervise administrative functions regarding job management, including: purchase of supplies, labor management, subcontractor(s), management of field employees, collection of A/R, Pre/post job submittals as required, and Safety work plans
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental policies and procedures per regulation
- Prepare reports to management as necessary regarding job performance
- Monitor and understand job costing and revenue recognition process through CRM
- Set production requirements for field Supervisor
- Maintain confidentiality regarding personnel and payroll information
- Communicate effectively with field workers, supervision and management.
The idea individual would have 5-15 years of industry experience and strong proactive problem resolution skills as well as excellent time management, organization and multi-tasking abilities.
Key is the ability to conduce oneself in a manner that promotes a professional atmosphere and ensures interactions with both internal and external customers. So ideally, this would be an individual with both the interpersonal skills and the personality necessary to interact with a diverse group of professionals and stakeholders.
