Our Client: A renowned name in the Middle East region and has global aspirations is looking to hire a Chief Strategy Officer.
Your Role: A seasoned executive who can assist the CEO to set the strategic glide path, growth strategy, assets allocation, drive the digital agenda and build capability with the different subsidiaries of the conglomerate. Support and help lead transformational initiatives within the existing portfolio and new opportunities, which may include the formation/incubation of new businesses, identification/implementation of new strategic partnerships, and organizational design and governance. As the markets move to align with the new normal. Organizations also seek "new blood" to inject into their holding organizations to up their game for their numerous subsidiaries. Our client a known and respected name in the Kingdom is looking for a Chief Growth and Strategy Officer to lead on the formulation of the overall business strategy, help the subsidiaries align to a unified vision. While also developing efficiencies in their business units. You would look at new acquisitions, drive transformation across the board, lead the development and implementation of performance management to ensure adequate monitoring and reporting on business performance, incubation of new businesses, plan and implement along with your team the group-wide strategic initiatives.
What we need you to bring to the table is the specific experience in Saudi Arabia, professional certification in Strategic Management / PMP will be essential. Prior deep experience in consumer goods/pharmaceuticals/consumer durables /retail would be a must-have. High preference for candidates who carry a mix of management consulting and client side experience. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
Must-Have: We are looking for candidates who have 15+ years of experience from a top management consulting organization or currently leading the strategy department for a significantly sized organization. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must-have. If you have covered diverse industries like consumer goods, pharma, manufacturing etc it would be an added advantage. Demonstrated experience presenting to C-Suite and Board level audiences. Visionary and Strategic thinking skills – great at seeing patterns and connecting the dots.
