Our client: A leading organisation in the region with multiple business units is looking to accelerate their digital footprint. It is an exciting mandate offering a unique opportunity to work across different business verticals and make an impact.
Your role: You would be the focal point within the organisation to lead on technology innovation, looking at the overarching vision and objectives to be achieved. You would align the digital and innovation strategy and operationalise the same. Design the digital transformation roadmap that enhances current processes, incubates new digital innovation programs that add incremental value to the bottom line. Identify and build external partnerships to bring in expertise from the outside. Working closely with senior leadership and presenting to the board, you need to collaborate with senior stakeholders in different business units. Defining holistic digitalisation strategy and supervise the implementation of the digital project portfolio. You also need to ensure that the organisational capability, infrastructure, people are geared to embrace the change journey.
Must-have: You need to bring to the table commercially astute leadership. Experience in defining, delivering and maximising multi-faceted strategies across different industry verticals. An accomplished relationship builder and ambassador, able to influence and work collaboratively, internally and externally, to provide exceptional results. Ability to challenge the status quo and help organisations rethink their needs. Ability to bridge the gap between technology and business fluency is an absolute must, as is the ability to influence change with cross-functional leadership. Leading the digital agenda, you would look at delivering digital products (building AI capabilities within the organisation, digital trends, use of technologies such as blockchain, VR, AR etc.) It is a fantastic opportunity to create a legacy.
