QA Inspector

An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the Auburn, RI area for a local individual with 3+ years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector with a background in metals/manufacturing. This position would earn a generous base salary and a loaded benefits package including medical benefits, a 401K w/ matching, Tuition Assistance, PTO and other outstanding perks. The schedule is 4x10; Monday-Thursday with possible OT on Fridays.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration

• Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have 2+ years of QA Inspector experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Metals: Plating and Casting experience is a PLUS

• Demonstrated experience performing in-process inspections according to company QAP (Quality Assurance Plan); auditing all jobs and using random sampling techniques is a MUST

• Experience identifying reworks/NCR’s according to AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) standards is a MUST

• Previous experience assisting production in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) is a PLUS

• Experience assisting in maintaining Quality Assurance gauge calibration systems is a PLUS

• Knowledge of NADCA Product Specification Standards for Diecasting regarding defects for casting: stains, blisters, flashing, etc. is a PLUS
