Position Overview:
TradeWind is seeking a Project Engineer 3 to provide leadership and technical expertise in the planning, coordination, and execution of multidisciplinary engineering activities across assigned projects or project segments. The selected candidate will oversee and direct engineering efforts to ensure design integrity, quality, and alignment with project goals and performance standards.
This role requires a highly collaborative professional who can work effectively with diverse teams, installation groups, and organizational leaders. The ideal candidate is a skilled problem solver who demonstrates an outward-focused approach—humble, hungry, and smart—and thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams is required, along with the ability to quickly learn and apply internal tools and software platforms
The Project Engineer 3 will interpret, organize, and execute complex engineering assignments while ensuring all activities comply with safety, quality, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises the engineering activity (all disciplines) on a project, or designated portions of a project, for a global business unit.
- Plans and directs engineering assignments on one or more projects.
- Has technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these assignments.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 6 or more years of progressive work experience, including supervision, preferably in project design engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience may include other relevant types of engineering including startup, field engineering or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities, process plants or engineering/construction firms.
Salary and Benefits Information:
Expected Salary Range: $130k - $160k / year (depending on experience)
