The Carlisle Group has been engaged to search for a Territory Sales Professional in Baltimore County, MD. This is a business-to-business sales opportunity for a privately owned business solutions and technology organization. The official title of the role is Technology Consultant.


The company was founded in 2004 and has grown aggressively in its 20-year history. The organization is an authorized dealer for Toshiba, Cisco, Meraki, datto, Dell, Lexmark, hp, Microsoft 365, QNAP, Intuit QuickBooks, Docuware, PaperCut, Veeam, SonicWall, and Canon. They provide services in office technology, print and mail services, and IT. They employ approximately 85 people and are expanding. They currently have 14 offices in PA, MD, and VA. They work in six main industry segments (Faith, Education, Non-profit, Architectural/Engineering/Construction, Local Government, Legal, Healthcare, and Small Businesses). They have been recognized in the TOP 50 for fastest growing companies in central PA and in the top 5,000 nationally by Inc.

Opportunity – Technology Consultant

  • The Technology Consultant manages all prospects in the assigned territory and turns them into valued customers. Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calling.
  • Applies knowledge of the field and equipment features to match equipment to the needs of the clients.
  • Develops and implements strategies for sales in assigned region or industry.
  • A team of certified service technicians will provide installation and customer training to your customers. You will also be supported by unparalleled marketing resources to assist you in promoting our DOCEO brand in the marketplace.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Industry experience is required. Our client is interested in talking with office technology business development professionals who have a minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated experience.
  • Strong business acumen and a consultative selling style that prioritizes customer outcomes.
  • Attention to detail along with use and knowledge of CRM systems are imperative to success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Reliable transportation.
