Position Overview:
TradeWind is seeking an expert-level IT Project Manager 4 to support a large-scale ERP transformation initiative impacting core business capabilities across Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Supply Chain, Data, Integrations, and related IT services.
The ERP Modernization Program Office serves as the central coordination hub for planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of this enterprise-wide transformation effort. This role will support the IT workstream with a strong focus on technical ERP implementation activities involving SAP S/4HANA, integrations, data platforms, Databricks, SAP Business Data Cloud, infrastructure dependencies, application interfaces, testing coordination, and technical readiness.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly organized project management professional with the technical acumen to understand complex ERP and integration environments, independently drive action items to completion, coordinate across multiple stakeholder groups, and ensure project delivery remains on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout activities for ERP Modernization IT workstream projects.
- Manage technical ERP project activities involving SAP S/4HANA, data platforms, Databricks, SAP Business Data Cloud, integrations, interfaces, infrastructure, environments, testing coordination, and technical readiness.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, work packages, resource plans, risk registers, issue logs, and status reports.
- Coordinate activities across IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, system integrators, PMO leadership, and Organizational Change Management (OCM) teams.
- Track vendor and system integrator deliverables and ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and technical requirements.
- Identify, manage, and resolve project risks, issues, dependencies, action items, and decision points that may impact delivery.
- Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions while documenting outcomes and ensuring follow-through.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, procurement coordination, communications, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Translate complex technical information into clear and concise project updates, risks, decisions, and action plans for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, IT governance, cybersecurity expectations, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Recommend and implement improvements to project management practices, reporting methods, and delivery processes.
- Maintain required safety and security training and integrate safety and security into all work activities, including stopping work when conditions are unsafe or security may be compromised.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- Extensive experience managing complex IT projects through the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closeout.
- Proven success managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, deliverables, and change control processes.
- Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale ERP implementation or modernization initiatives, preferably involving SAP S/4HANA.

- Procurement and contract support

- Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear business language.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments with limited direction.
- Demonstrated success resolving ambiguity, tracking down information, and driving work to completion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master certification
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or modernization efforts.
- Experience with:

- SAP Business Data Cloud
- ERP data conversion
- Analytics and reporting
- Technical architecture workstreams
- Experience supporting PMO governance, reporting, and executive-level status updates.
- Experience coordinating with Organizational Change Management teams on communications, training, readiness, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives involving Finance, HR, Procurement, Supply Chain, or other core business functions.
- Experience working within highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with federal procurement, financial management, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
Salary and Benefits Information:
Expected Salary Range: $155k - $200k / year (depending on experience)
