Structural Engineer

An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the Corktown-Detroit, MI area for a local individual with 5+ years’ experience as a Structural Engineer with a background in Civil/Industrial Engineering. This position would earn a generous base salary and a loaded benefits package including medical, dental, vision, a 401k, Life insurance, PTO and other outstanding perks.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration

• Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have 5+ years of Structural Engineering experience including structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures is a MUST

• Experience with mid-large Industrial/Automotive/Manufacturing projects

• Ability to sketch, read, and understand structural drawings/blueprints & prepare reports accordingly is a MUST

• Experience inspecting project sites, monitoring progress and ensuring conformance to designs/drawing specs is a MUST

• Performing site visits, conducting meetings with clients/contractors is a MUST

• Experience with AutoCAD and SAP2000 is a MUST
• Ability to occasionally travel to Windsor, ON (Canada) location is a MUST -- Work Permit Authorization/Eligibility is REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related is a MUST
