Position Overview:

TradeWind is seeking a skilled Project Controls professional to support Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Project Controls Systems. The selected candidate will perform cost estimating, analysis, and control activities, and may provide technical direction for cost engineering and planning/scheduling functions. This role requires the ability to identify cost and schedule trends, perform statistical analysis, and develop detailed project reports to support effective project execution and management decision-making.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in project controls, cost engineering, and scheduling; strong analytical and communication skills; and proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel and Word. A bachelor’s degree, a minimum of four years of relevant experience, and an active Q clearance are required. This is a full-time, on-site position following a 9/80 work schedule, with potential for extension or conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Project Controls System.
• Perform cost estimating, analysis and control activities.
• As delegated to, supervises and provides technical direction for cost engineering and/or planning/scheduling activities.
• Identify trends for management attention.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree plus 4+ years of related experience.
• Active Q-Clearance is required.
• Position requires experience in performing quantity takeoffs, statistical analysis, schedule monitoring, report writing, and computer operations.
• Skilled in understanding technical processes, engineering drawings, quantity determinations, and mathematical and financial reports.
• Knowledge in the use of computers for executing work processes.
• Skilled in oral and written communication.
• Demonstrates an intermediate level understanding of project controls general technical skills.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction management is customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.
• For positions also serving as a Control Account Manager (CAM), knowledge of and experience with project controls and/or project management, project budgets including cost estimating, cost control and cost analysis, project scheduling, implementation of corrective actions, developing and delivering detailed and accurate status reports and knowledge of and experience with engineering functions and principles required to understand and successfully implement and monitor technical projects.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tools and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with MS Office, Excel, Word, etc.

Salary and Benefits Information:

Expected Salary Range: $125k - $160k / year (depending on experience)
