Compensation - base salary commensurate with experience plus commission plus bonus is very competitive for a college graduate with one to five years of B2B sales experience. Plus you are provided a vehicle with all related expenses covered.
A home based position that covers the Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC metropolitan area and surrounding geography - Maryland, Virginia down to the Carolinas. Approximately 70% of the business is within 30 miles of Baltimore and Washington. A vehicle is provided and all related expenses are covered.
This is a very good opportunity for an Account Manager with career aspirations in business to business sales (B2B). Our client seeks to hire an Account Manager (Field Sales Representative or Key Account Representative) with 1 to 5 years of recent B2B sales experience who is interested in joining a strong national company in a sales capacity. The job is suitable for recent college graduates. A 4 year Bachelor's degree in a business or arts related subject area is an asset. Upside potential is excellent as the company prefers to promote from within.
In this role you will be calling on major building and DIY retailers. Knowledge of construction and tools would be an asset, but full training is provided by the company.
Service current clients and create new ones.
Detail company products to relevant retailers.
Be on the road every day and follow through with scheduled appointments.
Work out of a Ford F-150 truck and with whatever small office type setting you’ll have at home.
Bachelor’s degree in any field - business or arts preferred.
Outgoing, friendly and motivated to work in outside sales.
Maximum 5years work experience, while in University or College, and minimum 1 year post University experience in B2B sales, marketing or customer service.
Exposure to construction work and knowledge of tools is a plus.
Any type of construction, contractor, or building materials background can be a plus, but it’s not necessary.
Must have a clean driving record.
Approximately 6 overnight stays per month may be required away from the metropolitan area to cover the total geography. Therefore, the successful candidate must be able to do some travel.
Base salary plus commission plus bonus is very competitive (70K or more) plus a vehicle is provided and all related expenses are covered.
Earnings provide a comfortable living.
Cell phone allowance is provided.
