A two store specialty foot care retailer providing a full line of high end quality shoes, compression socks, arch supports, custom orthotics and foot care accessories seeks to engage an Assistant Manager or aspiring Sales Associate with a strong sales orientation already armed with, or, able to acquire and dispense professional knowledge on the best foot care products designed to relieve discomfort and improve the customer's quality of life. The individual sought will be a positive, resourceful, fashion forward and career minded customer service focused individual or a health professional such as a Kinesiologist, Pedorthist, Chiropodist student or Nurse with at least 5 to 10 years work related experience that will effectively blend with our client’s shoe and orthotics business.
The bottom line is that you are a professional where success depends on understanding customer needs, dispensing effective service and delivering total customer satisfaction. You have a demonstrable track record in customer service and sales or healthcare and you genuinely care for people.
Our client is looking for someone who is flexible, takes initiative, learns quickly and will take leadership to help manage a store as well as online sales. You are highly organized, dedicated, have a great work ethic and deliver results.

Your background may be as a Sales Associate, Assistant Manager or Manager in an environment where customer service and sales have been the key ingredients behind your success.
You may be a Nurse, Kinesiologist, or Pedorthist, Chiropodist student or in a health related field where your focus is 100% on client / patient satisfaction and you want to transition to a retail based health oriented business.
Manage store as Store Manager.
Initiating conversations with customers.
Assessing customer needs.
Presenting products and solutions that meet customer needs, explaining the features and benefits and suitability of products in a timely fashion.
Closing the sale.
Leading by example and assisting colleagues.
Ordering, organizing, inventory management, merchandising, marketing, loss prevention.
Participating in management of the website and ONLINE WEB STORE
Positive, self driven, resourceful individual who genuinely cares about his/her work; that is a flawless work ethic. You may have a 5 to years of sales experience in a service oriented retail environment.
You may have 5 to 10 years experience in a client or patient facing role in a health related field including orthotics, chiropody (chiropodist) / foot care, vision care, home health care, and mobility care products, or, you may be a personal trainer or a pharmacy technician.
Excellent English communication skills.
A resourceful team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for customer service and sales.
Strong organizational skills, quick learner and good with new technologies.
A degree in Kinesiology, Nursing, Chiropody or Pedorthics is a plus.
Compensation will range from the upper thirties to the mid fifties based on annual salary commensurate with experience plus bonus.
