Responsibilities

  • Develop production schedule with Project Managers
  • Manage the coordination of daily construction activity
  • Schedule work assignments for the workers on a daily and weekly basis
  • Keep the shop neat, clean, and organized. Perform minor facilities’ repairs as needed
  • Assist production personnel in questions of fabrication, assembly, and order process
  • Verify completeness and check the quality of orders prior to shipment
  • Maintain all power tools and machinery in good working condition
  • Ensure quality control of work both in manufacturing and job site
  • Perform proper material takeoff and field measurement
  • Work Order management – schedule, track and follow through to completion
  • Coordinate with field personnel that installation is consistent with the schedule
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Technical Skills - Computer literacy a must; ability to understand and use Microsoft Office. Duties include e-filing, ordering, data entry, software proficiency, and project management.

Communication Skills – Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, as well as customers and partners. Fluent English, both oral and written. (Bilingual: English/Spanish is a plus)

Work Environment - Warehouse conditions with exposure to wood dust, some fumes and operation machinery, and saws. The job can be physically demanding and often involves working with high-speed woodworking machinery.

Safety is the top priority. Cabinet specialists are required to wear special equipment to protect against injury.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 year’s cabinetry experience
  • Must be organized and able to document and retrieve critical information at a moment's notice
  • Have knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools
  • Read and understand blueprints and specs
  • Develop and maintain job costs, project budget and schedules
  • Strong time management skills and be comfortable with a deadline-driven schedule
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize.
  • Complete knowledge of cabinet hardware.
  • Knowledge and ability of all cabinet shop tools
