This is a Manufacturing Plant under 300 employees seeking a hands-on Plant Manager with P&L and turnaround experience. Tier 1 and 2 Plastic interior trim and Automotive parts. Focus on growth, efficiency, and continuous improvement and lead an autonomous facility with the support of a world-class manufacturing company.

This position is responsible for directing and supervising Production, engineering, and quality Supervisory staff in relation to all production functions/ needs. This position is responsible for employee relations/retention, ensuring the training of all production staff, and coordinating production requirements. The Plant Manager is also responsible for following and leading the team in safety guidelines. This is a “hands-on” position for someone with technical expertise and active management experience. Primary Responsibilities

• Lead team of 6-10 direct reports, 200+ indirect reports
• Shop-Floor leadership
• Review Key Performance Indicators daily
• Implement plans to improve performance.
• Create and maintain a positive culture to drive employee retention.
• Direct supervisors in employee relations, documentation of corrective action reports, etc., vacation scheduling, and appropriate staffing to meet production goals within budget limits
• Provide overall direction and define priorities for Production Shift Supervisors and technicians to ensure their ability to achieve productivity and efficiency goals effectively.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
• Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and provide feedback to all direct and indirect reports
• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with all company policies, and procedures.
• Maximize throughput and machine efficiency working with engineering

Experience/Education

• 10+ years in a similar manufacturing environment (Automotive parts)
• 5 years in Plant Manager exp.
• Strong Automotive Plastics bg - Injection Molding, Blow Molding, Plastic Extrusion
• Former P&L responsibility between $30MM -100MM
• Knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPS,
• Extensive track record of improving manufacturing systems and processes, engineering, continuous improvement, and quality systems
