Job Description
You will lead the group that keeps the company software humming. Programming, integration, enterprise software, and WMS support.
That means programming, configuration, API interfaces, and whatever would work better changed is your responsibilty.
Management is your main job, but this is highly technical stuff. Hands-on. You need to be able to understand the architecture and coding. SQL is critical. XML, JSON, Python or PHP, WMS systems, and other technologies have to be in your wheelhouse, or you need to learn them pronto.
And you have to be able to manage your people. Hire, evaluate, train, encourage, and occasionally fire them. Some will be onsite, some virtual most of the time. You cannot survive unless your team also thrives.
