The Sotra Connection is a major 9.4 km transport link connecting Storavatnet and Kolltveit.
This large-scale development includes four two-lane tunnels, a new four-lane bridge of approximately 900 meters, as well as pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, parking facilities, and associated works.
The project is being delivered through a partnership between the Norwegian Public Roads Administration and Sotra Link AS, representing the largest single contract ever awarded by the Administration.

Construction is being carried out by Sotra Link Construction JV ANS, with works having commenced in March 2023.
The new road connection is scheduled to open in autumn 2027, with pedestrian and cycling infrastructure to follow in 2028.

We are now looking to strengthen the team with several MEP Supervisors, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a complex, multidisciplinary project from execution through to completion.

Telecommunications & Security Systems Supervisor

We are seeking a structured and solution-oriented Telecommunications & Security Systems Supervisor to oversee the installation and integration of communication and security systems in a large-scale infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation and integration of telecommunications and security systems
• Oversee systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm and communication networks
• Coordinate contractors and technical teams across disciplines
• Participate in testing, commissioning and system handover
• Monitor progress and ensure delivery in line with project milestones and quality standards
• Ensure full compliance with safety, regulatory and project requirements
• Support system integration and resolve technical interface challenges

Requirements:

• Relevant technical education within telecommunications, electronics or similar
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with telecom, security or low-voltage systems
• Experience with CCTV, access control, fire alarm and/or communication infrastructure
• Knowledge of fiber optics and network systems is an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills
• Structured and proactive working style
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
