| Job Description | Join one of Norway’s largest and most ambitious infrastructure projects. Would you like to play a key role in delivering a landmark infrastructure project in Norway? The Sotra Connection is a major 9.4 km transport link connecting Storavatnet and Kolltveit. This large-scale development includes four two-lane tunnels, a new four-lane bridge of approximately 900 meters, as well as pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, parking facilities, and associated works. The project is being delivered through a partnership between the Norwegian Public Roads Administration and Sotra Link AS, representing the largest single contract ever awarded by the Administration. Construction is being carried out by Sotra Link Construction JV ANS, with works having commenced in March 2023. The new road connection is scheduled to open in autumn 2027, with pedestrian and cycling infrastructure to follow in 2028. We are now looking to strengthen the team with several MEP Supervisors, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a complex, multidisciplinary project from execution through to completion. Automation & VTS Integration Supervisor We are seeking a highly skilled Automation & VTS Integration Supervisor to take a leading role in the installation and integration of complex automation and control systems within a large-scale, multidisciplinary infrastructure project. This is a key technical position responsible for ensuring that multiple advanced systems operate seamlessly as one fully integrated solution. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and supervise installation and integration of automation and control systems • Coordinate across electrical, mechanical and telecommunications disciplines to ensure system integration • Participate in testing, commissioning and system verification, ensuring performance and reliability • Monitor progress and ensure delivery in line with project milestones, quality and safety standards • Review and validate technical documentation, drawings and system designs • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and integration challenges • Provide technical oversight and reporting to project stakeholders Requirements: • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Engineering Technology or similar • Minimum 5 years’ experience in automation and control systems within complex projects • Strong experience with PLC/SCADA systems • Solid understanding of integrated technical systems and interfaces • Ability to interpret advanced technical documentation and drawings • Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills • Fluent in English, written and spoken For further information, please contact Agla Sigríður Björnsdóttir at Ráðum via phone +354 860 1099 or email agla@radum.is | ||
