The Position:  Surety Bonds Producer

 

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking producers in the metro-DC area to join our highly successful team focused on winning new clients and cross-selling to existing clients.  Producers are expected to develop and manage an active pipeline and close opportunities.  This role is directed towards generating new sales in the mid-market niche.

 

The prospective producer should have a proven track record of selling B2B and does not need to possess insurance specific experience.  We are interested in focused, high energy sales professionals with excellent communication skills possessing an interest in being part of a firm with strong corporate culture.

 

Roles and responsibilities:

·        Develop and maintain a consistent active new business pipeline

·        Develop new and existing relationships with people who make insurance buying decisions

·        Actively participate in and take leadership in targeted industry association events

·        Drive new business generation and manage client life cycle through post sales closing

·        Works with Team Leaders to set and achieve goals

·        Minimum of $125,000 in new business revenue generation annually expected

·        Preparation of compelling proposals through collaboration with client management team

·        Understanding fully our value proposition and aligning our resources to the needs of the client

 

Compensation:

Beginning compensation is Salary plus Incentive based and commensurate with experience in successful selling to the B2B market.  In time, compensation is commission base and there is no compensation cap.
