Employee Benefits Account Manager

This Account Manager in the employee benefits department will be responsible for the day to day delivery of high quality insurance customer service to highly sophisticated commercial lines clients in the 50 - 750 employee segment. The successful candidate will be very bright, polished and have high level communications skills.

Background Required: (‘like to haves’)

· Demonstrated success managing a book of employee benefits clients

· Capable in Excel spreadsheet and financial modeling is a big plus

· Experience with accounts 50 - 500 employee lives

· Negotiations experience with Carriers

· Experienced in client presentations

· Licensed in L&H

· Organized and able to multi-task

· Proposal Development is a plus

· Excellent customer relation skills

· Multi-tasking

· Collaborative

· No management experience required


· Service, Support, and Account Management of mid-market to large L&H accounts

· Consult and interact with customers on renewals

· Work on client proposals & presentations

· Work with current clients handling inquiries, policy changes, etc

· Work alongside sales producers

· Driving new business through renewals
