Summary:

The Director of Sales, will be responsible for achieving a personal and team annual bookings quota consisting of booked revenue for software license, software maintenance and SaaS sales through positioning and selling the company’s portfolio of products within their assignment.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Works with direct reports to build territory plans that details activities to build a pipeline required to meet and exceed annual revenue goals

Provides accurate account / revenue forecast commitments through the corporate CRM system for personal and team objectives

Maintains relationship with assigned accounts at all levels from user to executive, and aligns the company’s resources to the customer’s organization accordingly

Participates in and supports industry events and activity as required. Has a PR plan developed for each “key” account.

Works closely with Finance, Professional Services, Marketing, Product and Legal to close sales transactions within company guidelines

Experience/Education:

Minimum of 7 years of sales and at least 3 years of sales leadership experience in a complex application software sales environment, successfully selling at all tier levels and at all levels within organizations

Experience of selling supply chain logistics solutions and working with CRM systems; experience with SalesForce.com is a plus
