Posting Number: 201591SLG Job Title: Sales Director Location: Ohio, Minneapolis, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania Willing to Relocate: No Compensation: $125K Base plus Commission Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Identify, generate, pursue and close “net new” sales opportunities focused on shippers with $3M to $25M in annual freight spend Develop and build customer relationships at decision-maker levels resulting in customer closures and deeper business revenue expansion opportunities Assess business opportunities and prospect requirements to solve challenges through a sales solution approach to transportation management and TMS Technology services Maintain complete, timely and accurate representations of all opportunities within our client’s single system Experience/Education: Minimum of 8-10 Years of experience in selling transportation management solutions and/or outsourced business processes/services Demonstrated expertise in sales and business development of transportation management solutions Proven ability to drive an exceptional diagnostic sales campaign which typically commences by creating executive demand – presenting a thoughtful “reason to take action” Expertise in listening to the customer and understand the customer challenge and translating company services into a value proposition for the customer
