The primary purpose of the Sales Director is to achieve their overall revenue goal. In order to achieve this goal, the Sales Director must create a complete territory business plan that generates automotive-verticals at least 5x their quota in pipeline opportunity. The Sales Director is responsible for identifying and qualifying opportunities, developing and driving sales strategies into automotive verticals.

The Sales Director will develop an opportunity plan containing the value proposition for all of our clients supply chain management solutions(automotive verticals) and services to customers & prospects in that territory. It is expected that the Sales Director be adept at creating and nurturing executive relationships on their own while positioning our client’s executive team.

As a Sales Director, you are responsible for managing our client’s largest and most strategic automotive customers as well as a portfolio of top percentile new business target accounts.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

Works to attain various sales objectives related to securing new business opportunities within named automotive customers (pipeline generation objectives, customer engagement events such as QBR’s, Executive Meetings etc.)

Arranges internal account review meetings with Professional Services, CSM’s and other parties to assess customer retention and plan adoption activities

Maintains an accurate and up to date risk register to provide early warning to leadership of any automotive customer accounts that are at risk of not renewing their subscription

Prospects within the assigned territory and generates automotive-vertical sales opportunities into to maintain at least 5x their annual quota in pipeline opportunity

Updates and maintains an accurate database of contacts, accounts and opportunities within our internal CRM system
