Responsible for developing and leading sales team, to exceed goals for EBITDA, top line revenue growth, and yield improvement and productivity standards, Collaborates with multiple functions, such as operations, finance, information technology, business intelligence, and human resources to ensure expectations set forth by executive leadership are met

Job Specifics:

Accountability for achievement of Account Executives’ and district sales goals by managing team performance, utilizing leadership and mentorship skills to work with individuals on maximizing their potential within the organization

Perform as the sales leader in assigned district, representing upper management and communicating direction in motivational ways to account executive.

Influence national accounts success within assigned district to include collaboration with SAM team and Operations, support continuous improvement efforts

Drive key sales performance metrics to ensure effective utilization of AE’s time and achievement of set revenue and profit goals

Actively recruit within assigned district to ensure we have maximum bench strength to elevate district

Collaborate with Marketing to structure necessary customer interaction and entertainments to maximize lead gen and ROI

Communicate and collaborate with Pricing on new pricing opportunities and renegotiations to ensure execution of district sales strategies

The Ideal Candidate:

BS/BA in business or related field required (logistics, supply chain management, communication, manufacturing, finance, etc) or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

5+ years’ experience in sales, marketing or supply chain, procurement, with LTL experience preferred

Previous sales leadership experience in a team focused environment required

Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management techniques and processes

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage vendor and customer relationships at all levels

Ability to perform and direct moderately complex analysis in spreadsheet and database programs, such as MS Excel and MS Access

Ability to travel up to 75%
