|Job Description||Our Client: is a major conglomerate in Saudi Arabia is looking at hiring an Legal Director to be based in Jeddah.|
Your Role: Managing relationships with key executive subsidiary business partners and stakeholders: clarifies partner intentions and needs, translates into relevant legal topics, directs resources to address legal issues and needs. Providing subsidiary legal counsel: assists in defining issues, gathers pertinent information/legal background, formulates and provides recommendations, brings additional legal resources to bear as necessary. Coordinating and managing subsidiary legal staff; communicates subsidiary legal direction, obtains staff input make legal priority and trade-off decisions. Assures clearance of advertising, sales promotion materials: receives request, views, advises update of new product information content. Assisting with legal aspects of sales and procurement contracts: revises/monitors disclaimer, terms and conditions on forms, invoices. Preparing and advising on corporate communications and related requests including website and other clearances. Monitoring government agency and industry associations for issues/concerns pertinent to CP. Supporting local corporate governance related activities, filings, financing, legal status. Providing support for legal HR administration at the local level. Responding to legal challenges, coordinates litigation related activities, e.g. involving Outside Counsel, Division or Corp Specialists.
Must Have: College graduate with Legal degree, with minimum of 10+ years general business legal experience. Legal knowledge and ability to provide legal advice to their clients and colleagues as well as to build close relationships with business partners such as the Subsidiary GM and other managers helping them achieve business results with assistance from Division Specialty Lawyers, Corporate Specialty Lawyers, Legal Managers and Outside Counsel. Saudi Nationals will only be considered for this role.
