Job Description

Our Client: A leading conglomerate with diversified business interest is looking for a Retail Expansion Director in Riyadh.


Your Role: You would be responsible for driving the business development initiatives, striking new franchise agreements, opportunities (leasehold, acquisition and management agreement) across Saudi. You will work with cross functional teams to capitalize on the same. You will create a strategic plan and lead the implementation of the strategic plan, guiding the future vision by setting short, medium and long-term objectives and strategies. Ensure departments impacted by Business Development projects have sufficient notice to provide support and deliver requirements within deadlines. To provide the necessary management to direct reports and leadership to the broader team including internal colleagues and external consultants to ensure that the strategic plan is effectively translated into the relevant actions and activities required to maximize the performance of each asset, reflecting the market and delivering maximum value to shareholders. Promote communication with internal stakeholders to leverage and expertise of leasing, marketing, development and property management teams


Must Have: 10+ years of experience in either Retail or FnB industry with an astute commercial mind which can cut across diversity and levels in a large organization and be effective. Experience in the delivery of development projects with beginning to end experience across development projects of varied sizes in Retail or FnB industry. Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, proven project management experience and the ability and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Saudi Nationals will only be considered for this role.
