Job Description

Our client; A leading multinational is currently looking for a pro-active and strategic HR Director to provide leadership in the HR function for all Operations activities as business partner to a business division in South Africa

Your Role; In addition to overseeing general HR responsibilities of staff policies and performance; the role has a particular focus on building and maintaining company culture across South Africa & Nigeria .The successful candidate will be able to speak passionately about techniques to embed and grow culture in a rapidly growing business .Through developing, leading and driving the HR strategy the HR Director will support the achievement of business goals and growth of the business. This will include ensuring that a world class recruitment strategy and on-boarding process is in place, implementing and strengthening employee engagement strategies and processes, designing and monitoring compensation and benefits packages. The HR Director will implement employment policies, procedures and documentation, coaching line managers to achieve excellence throughout the management hierarchy and, as the business scales, support organisational design and development.

Must Have;
As an experienced HR professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience you will have the ability to present a coherent vision for culture and people operations, and communicate this to all levels of the organisation, therefore, outstanding communication skills are crucial. You will be highly dynamic and enthusiastic with demonstrable experience in organisational planning, recruitment, organisation development, employee relations, employee engagement and employee development. You will have outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills and a good understanding of the challenges presented by working within a high growth company. Ideally, you will be degree qualified and hold a relevant HR qualification. You will have prior experience in transforming the HR Function taking it from the traditional way to integrating it into the business .
