|Job Description||Our Client: A leading name in the FMCG retail industry is looking to get on board a Category Manager with prior buying experience in FMCG categories in large supermarket/Convenience retails Chains|
Your Role: You will be responsible to develop and execute a category management strategy, category selling platforms, best practice implementations and innovation/renovation support. This is a highly cross functional role. To create and develop a long term plan and strategy for development of the FMCG category, Lead the planning process, highlight growth opportunities and identify business targets through category, shopper & market analysis would be the main duties. You will increase category market share as well as category revenue growth.
Must Have: Prior buying experience in FMCG categories in large supermarket/Convenience retails Chains is mandatory. 5+ years of experience with a graduate in any discipline. Must be proficient with financial analysis, merchandising, inventory control, and vendor relationship. Excellent communication skills – verbal – written – presentation and cultural understanding. Analytical skills, Third part Management, soft management skills, analytical and retail management skills would be essential
