Job Description Our Client: A world leader in the lubricant industry are looking to bring on board a Key Account Manager to join their business in South Africa.

Your Role: The position reports to the Business Manager and is centered around discovering, connecting with and winning new business clients and long haul associations with Key Accounts across Africa. This is a Direct Sales part that will drive our business development forward over the immediate deals and B2B areas.
The incumbent would be relied upon to give business advancement administration, division and client understanding and have the capacity to aid the improvement of creative deals and business arrangements that uses our solid Customer Value Proposition to win new clients.
This part is viewed as giving improvement potential open door for future, more senior positions inside the territorial deals and promoting association.

Must Have:
  • Master's Degree in Business or Engineering would be desired although candidates with proven business acumen will be considered.
  • Coaching skills: capable to influence others out of the reporting line, active listener, capable to provide constructive feedback.
  • Minimum of 7+ years proven and successful direct sales experience in the lubricants, associated automotive / chemical business or any other industry in the B2B, Technical Products, Key Accounts, Direct Sales sectors
  • Critical Thinking and strong decision making skills.
  • Confident, Strong aspiration and capable of managing conflicting calls and work to create a win win situation.
  • Highly inspired and self motivating individual who is result driven and has an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to gather data and information to analyze and propose growth strategies and tactics
  • A team player who can construct fruitful working relationships at all levels in the organization.
  • Strong Negotiation skills, Communication skills.
  • Solution seeking mindset and continuously willing to learn.
