Job Description

Our Client: is offering a fantastic opportunity for a highly competent sales professional to join their team. With a global presence and a reputable brand name, an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Regional Market Development Manager has arisen to join a FMCG market leader.

Your Role: You would be working closely with the distributors, enhancing distributor capability, take proactive action in consolidating distributors or doing the due diligence for new partnerships. Channel Strategy and Territory Management to achieve the business plan. Developing volume sales for the specified products. Maximize sales and distribution across chosen markets/channels for the products, Streamlining and strengthening the distribution network. Developing effective systems / mechanism to monitor market and performance of sales. Analyzing, developing and executing distinctive programs to yield measurable results across the modern trade sector.

Geographies that you would manage Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon. Some of these markets are white spaces for the organization currently.

What on your resume will make me sit up and take note?
If you have a strong mix of business development & distributor management
If you have multiple country experience (Pakistan/Afghanistan and Turkey being key)
If your resume reflects a demonstrated track record in appointing or consolidating distributors / putting in in- store solutions which have reflected in positive "retailer behaviour " and have been able to do tactical optimization.

Must Haves: Graduate + MBA preferably.
At least 10+ years of sales / business development / trade marketing.
Strong commercial acumen as this is not just another sales job it requires high levels of strategic initiative and accountability.

Experience in the consumer goods industry is a must have!
