Our Client

A leading FMCG distributor in Oman are looking to hire a Business Manager buying and category management to join their team in Muscat

The Role

The key objective of this role is to ensure category management, vendor management activities and provide back office support to all the Retail Shops through efficient assortment planning, sourcing locally or imports, tracking supplier performances, negotiating terms for trading agreements, overlooking Fresh categories such as Meat, Fish and Produce, Planning and executing periodical consumer promotions etc.

Must Haves
Post Graduate with Specialization in Retail preferred

Minimum 8 to 10 years experience as Category Manager (FMCG), preferably in Oman or other GCC countries or India

Strong analytical skills

Good communication skills , negotiation skills , planning and organisational skills
