An industry-leading, global Medical Technology company is developing and launching new products within the implantable Medical Device space and are in need of a Product Manager or Senior Manager to help take them to the next level. This mid-size, entrepreneurial company is looking for a strategic and tactical marketing professional to help build a marketing business model that is customer-centric and market driven. They are a growing multinational organization with successful on-market products and new products in development with launches planned for the next two years. Revenues have increased 25% for the past four consecutive quarters. This is a dynamic and exciting work environment where their teams have unusually strong personal chemistry. The role and responsibilities:
As Product Manager, or Senior Product Manager depending on experience, responsibilities are both upstream and downstream in nature and will include monitoring the competitive landscape, sales forecasting, messaging, branding, plus development of the collateral materials and sales training materials. Upstream, product development and product enhancement duties include market research, analyzing competitive market data, building business cases, and preparing for the US launch. You will also support the Medical Education department for physician training and development of Key Opinion Leaders in the orthopedic and surgical spine space.

There will be an opportunity to be on the fast-track to leadership involving the team build-out over the next two years. This is a broadly defined marketing assignment that will require a range of skills and the ability to drive organizational change internally. Travel is estimated at about 40%.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of product marketing experience in the Medical Device or Surgical Equipment industry
• Strong preference for experience working in the spine or orthopedic segment of implantable medical devices
• The drive to work in a small, fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree or better; MBA or equivalent preferred

A highly competitive base salary and bonus incentive plan is provided, along with a comprehensive benefits package. This position will be based in the greater San Diego, CA area; limited financial assistance is available for relocation support.
