We are seeking a Fiber Optic Splicer for a role in the Denver, CO area.

Location: Denver, CO – candidate must be able to drive to sites – mileage is reimbursed.

******Pay rate $25-33/hr

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Perform Fiber characterization test experience including CD, PMD, OTDR, IOLM and Power Loss
• Perform troubleshooting of problems
• Perform Fiber Optic splicing on various cable types – ribbon, high fiber, loose tube, etc.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in telecom industry in Fiber Optic
• Clean driving record
• Fiber Optic splicing experience on a variety of cable types – loose tube, ribbon, micro and OPGW
• Strong understanding of fusion splicing with OTDR testing and link loss testing
• Knowledge of both AC/DC power
• Ability to work some overtime
