Job Description:
Locator Services: The Fiber Field Locator/Inspector will be responsible for providing location services for the existing facilities (duct, cable, handholes) and monitoring any construction around facilities. Install, check, and repair the fiber/telecom cables.

Inspection Services: The Inspector/Locator will be responsible for completing daily and weekly production reports, dig-up reports, maintaining sequential fiber placement documentation for newly placed cable, capturing GPS locations for all handholes, and updating KML files in Google Earth. The inspector will also be a liaison for meetings with local municipalities, ROW owners, and property owners.

Pay Rate: $52/hour - Mileage is reimbursed (no reimbursement for lodging/meals)

Shift:

• Monday - Saturday 10 hours/day (overtime)
• Night work may be required

Requirements:

• 2-4 years related experience
• Must have a valid standard Driver's License
• Requires work on/with crews on railways and/or public highways, pipelines, rights of way**
