Truck Driver - Class A, Construction Materials

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is currently in search of a highly skilled Class A Truck / Delivery Driver that will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of construction materials to various jobsites throughout the dynamic San Francisco Bay Area.

Our ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience operating 30 to 40-foot tractor trailers specifically for the delivery of construction materials to jobsites. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring secure loading and unloading of materials, adept navigation of the truck within tight and often challenging environments, and the coordination of onsite crews. You will play a vital role in maintaining delivery schedules for multiple daily deliveries.

As the Driver, you will not only operate the truck but also actively participate in the loading and unloading of materials. This aspect of the role involves a significant amount of physical labor, often working alongside a helper. You will also be responsible for completing all relevant paperwork associated with deliveries, promptly returning completed documentation to the distribution department, and ensuring that the truck remains in proper operational condition.

Qualifications for this position include an AA degree and a valid Class A License with a clean driving record. You must possess the ability to skillfully navigate the trailer on highways and local roads throughout the Bay Area. Jobsites typically fall within a 100-mile radius of the plant location. Forklift certification is a plus and will be given strong consideration.
