Persons Lines Customer Service Representative
Our client, who is a well respected Insurance Agency, has Retained The Carlisle Group to conduct a search for a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative in the State College Pennsylvania area.
  • Accountable for high standards of service and responsiveness to ensure fulfillment of external and internal client needs.
    • Prioritizes internal or external customer requests and ensures appropriate resolution in a timely manner
    • Ensures a quality customer experience by being prompt in recognizing customers, greeting the customer, calling them by name, and conveying a friendly demeanor, in person or via the telephone
    • Improves customers’ experience by ensuring that the customers are attended to promptly and their challenges are resolved efficiently
    • Ensures customer resolution through collaboration with other areas as required
    • Nurtures a culture of engagement through day-to-day interactions among the team
  • Responsible to serve and support the personal line insurance client service needs, as assigned.
    • Answers agency phone lines and greets agency customers
    • Generates documents and produces correspondence to satisfy client service requests.
    • Generates and faxes documents and correspondence to appropriate financial institutions and auto dealers
    • Assists clients in submitting first reports of claims
    • Processes changes to insurance policies as requested by customers.
    • Receives information from prospective phone or walk-in individuals and existing customers wishing to receive quotes for insurance products.
  • Maintains orderly electronic files and information, following agency standards.
    • Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities
  • Actively refers clients to associated Kish business units for solicitation of new business

  • Solicits additional lines of personal insurance as required to ensure client’s needs are fully met.
    • Reviews client info to ensure client is fully insured (e.g. auto, home, etc.) – e.g. former language – “round out clients’ accounts”
  • Maintains agency supplies from insurance companies, including.
    • Change forms, quote forms, payment sheets and company envelopes.
    • Orders forms and sales support items from insurance companies.
  • Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, coverage’s and technology to continuously improve knowledge and stay current.
    • Attends associated webinars and CE training as assigned
