Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com ) is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the development of a custom, single family home developments throughout the San Jose (Cupertino, Los Altos, Saratoga, Los Gatos, :Palo Alto, Menlo Park) marketplaces.
The ideal individual would have 10+ years of construction management experience, with at least 5 years of dedicated experience related to construction of custom homes and/or residential production home building. Experienced in assessing construction schedules, developing scopes of work, budgets, processing change orders, RFI’s, managing vendor relationships and overseeing onsite construction and inspections for successful project deliverables is required.
The Construction Manager would be assuming the organizations lead role in directing onsite construction for projects; responsible for project level field direction on a wide variety of projects from rough grade through project closeout. This would include managing multiple ongoing projects throughout the North Bay Marketplace. Must have the capabilities to identify construction standards required, direct onsite construction, manage trades, scheduling, RFI’s, submittals, materials procurement, personnel management and inspections for the successful completion of home developments in the region. Average project scope of work will range up to $10 Million per home.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering and/or related industry experience. Strong construction management, verbal and written communication abilities, as well as, the abilities to manage multiple large-scale development projects at one time. Must have MS Office suite and MS Project experience.
