Job Title: EDI Project Manager

Job Description:

  • EDI X12 and API knowledge a must
  • Familiarity with EDI X12 transaction sets: 204, 214, and 990.
  • Thorough understanding of Networks/protocols (HTTPS, FTP, Firewalls, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of programming and web-based application.
  • Ability to analyze basic code in any of the following technologies: Java, XML, SOAP, REST, XSLT, JavaScript, Python
  • Ability to work with Developers on customer mapping.
  • Analytical mind with the ability to interpret technical solutions around Customer Interfaces.
  • Working knowledge of SQL is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with software tools like JIRA, VPN, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins would be helpful.
  • Multitasker in a fast past environment.
  • Spanish and or Portuguese language proficiency highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • Support tickets independently to ensure resolution of issues that are occurring in customer’s system.
  • Configure standard components for existing/new customers by collaborating with Development.
  • Manage complete integration of new carriers onto the platforms, requiring expert communication of interface configurations, project specifications, and coordination of system launch.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service regarding EDI/API agreements and which EDI/API integrations (204, 990,214, SOAP, REST, etc.) are needed.
  • Communicate directly with Carriers and or Shipper with information required (data transfer, SCAC etc.) to implement EDI/API testing.
  • Adhere to Shipper requirements and processes when creating carrier’s interfaces.
  • Coordinate scenario testing with internal operations development and fix any possible issues.
  • Administrative tasks, such as, documentation of tests results, preparation of internal and external reports, and preparation of tasks for the infrastructure and development teams
  • Communicate via various ticketing systems with customers and/or internal colleagues.
  • Monitor performance of the platform and react on relevant incidents.
  • Check completeness of the system documentation and ensure it is constantly updated.
  • Updating relevant company documents around carrier interface setups.
