Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is seeking a Seasoned Business Development / Sales Professional to lead client relationship development and sales activities for one of the region’s leading construction organizations within a 40 year old history of award winning, real estate development.

The ideal individual would have 10+ years of experience working as a Business Development / Sales professional, with at least 5+ years in the construction industry working for a general contractor, design/build or specialty contracting firm. Must have the abilities to generate business opportunities, cultivate relationships and establish profitable accounts for the organization; including performing activities related to developing a business plan of action, focusing sales efforts towards the companies’ strategic strengths and tracking results to meet growth and revenue objectives. Additionally, candidates will be responsible for cross selling existing clients, developing new client accounts, cultivating leads (cold/warm), negotiating contracts, overseeing billing, attending RFP/RFQ meetings and industry social events as needed.

Requires the abilities to work in conjunction with the senior leadership team, project managers, estimators and construction management personnel throughout the firm to establish the organization in the $1 to 25 million marketplaces for projects ranging from commercial, hospitality, institutional, healthcare and/or multifamily based construction. This may include new ground up construction, tenant Improvements, retrofits and/or energy efficiency construction projects throughout the Sacramento, California region. Candidates that have an existing Sacramento / Northern California client base and/or professional relationships are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requires a Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or related discipline. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities. MS Office and CRM software skills required. A history of demonstrated construction sales success is required.
