Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com ) is seeking a Construction Program Director / Owner Representative to oversee educational capital construction projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
The ideal individual would have 10+ years of experience in construction management directly supervising educational development projects; leading teams in the planning and performance of facilities master planning, value engineering, cost estimating, program scheduling, budgeting, permitting and construction, performing quality control and reconciling projects for project closeout and public regulatory compliance.
The Project Director will be charged with ensuring the successful and timely completion of public, education (Elementary, High School, Community College and University) construction projects throughout the San Francisco bay area; acting as the primary point of contact for client in administering all development/ construction related activities of projects. Must have the capabilities to oversee the full life cycle of development from conceptual design, master planning, value engineering, cost estimating, construction scheduling, budgeting, permitting through physical construction, quality control, invoicing and closeout for ongoing, multiple jobsite projects.
The Project Director will lead a time of project managers, superintendent, and associated project support staff on a daily basis,
Requires a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Architecture or related discipline. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Candidates with previous California Elementary, High School, Community College or Public University experience will be given priority consideration.
Position is based in San Jose or Oakland, CA. Abilities to telecommute on a regular basis in performance of daily duties is encouraged.
