Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com ) is seeking an electrical engineer / project manager to aid in the management of facility electrical systems design, construction and commissioning of corporate, governmental and military facilities worldwide.
The ideal individual would have 5+ years of experience working within a facility and/or building design group managing project life cycles. Must have the abilities to assist and/or lead project efforts from the development of conceptual plans through commissioning of equipment within new and renovated facilities; including the research, evaluation and development of facility electrical designs, scopes of work, cost estimates, budgets, scheduling, reviewing schematics, overseeing construction and assuring the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.
The Electrical Engineer will also be responsible for the turn over, commissioning and qualification of facilities systems; gathering operational and performance data to assure efficient operations, as well as, assisting with planned shutdowns and equipment modifications for medium and low voltage electrical distribution, critical power/ redundancy, UPS systems, data centers, security, telecommunications, solar power and cabling systems for complex corporate, governmental and military facilities worldwide.
Candidates must have the capabilities to work with facilities personnel, stakeholders, design professionals and senior management on a daily basis, as well as, the skills to oversee electrical design standards and CAD libraries.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) required. Proficiency with AutoCAD desired. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Position will require travel nationally as needed
Active Security Clearance is necessary for this role, as well as, previous experience working with the Department of State, US Corp or Engineers and/or DOD.
