Job Description
Our government client is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their team on a remote basis. To be considered for this position, you will need two years of experience in digital graphic design. Keep on reading to learn more.
About You
To be considered, you will need:
- Two years of experience in digital graphic design planning and implementation.
- Five years of experience using Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, or Dreamweaver.
- Experience designing for either a government organization compliant with Treasury Board Secretariat regulations or a private organization with at least 250 employees.
- A secondary school diploma (or equivalent education/training) in Graphic Design or Digital Marketing.
- A portfolio showcasing at least two projects within the last five years, including digital media deliverables such as logos, banners, social media graphics, business cards, infographics, brochures, or digital signage.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with stakeholders and refine designs to align with brand standards.
About the Role
If hired, you will:
- Assess the client’s media brand and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop creative concepts and execute high-quality designs within an established brand identity.
- Create digital assets, including logos, business cards, social media graphics, brochures, and infographics.
- Design web graphics, banners, and backgrounds for digital collaboration spaces and websites.
- Present creative concepts to stakeholders and participate in design discussions.
- Provide recommendations for future design strategies and implementation initiatives.
- Collaborate with key representatives to ensure designs meet brand expectations and organizational standards.
