Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Mechanical designer in Suwanee, GA

This is a direct, full-time position


Duties:

• Drafts detailed drawings of a wide variety of machinery and mechanical devices, indicating dimensions and tolerances, fasteners and joining requirements, and other engineering data.
• Analyzes and determines engineering modifications and changes needed to fulfill customer requirements for equipment.
• Produces new or revised 2-D, 3-D and solid modeling working drawings.
• Applies product performance troubleshooting while recommending products and providing guidance where needed.

Requirements:

• Technical or Associates Degree with a focus in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years related work experience in design.
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Experience with Siemens NX is a plus
• Experience in metal and structural components.
• Demonstrates knowledge in the understanding of bearings, bearing types.
• Demonstrates a mechanical mindset with an understanding of various components and their use
• Ability to understand gearbox and driveline fundamentals is preferred
• Experience using Windows, Office 365 and ERP systems.
