Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com ) is seeking a Chief Estimator to perform estimating and oversee an estimate development group for single family residential projects throughout California.

The ideal individual would have 10+ years of experience working as an estimator / project manager with at least 5+ years of experience in an estimating capacity. Must have the abilities to perform all related estimating activities; review all contracts/bids, conduct walk-thrus, perform quantity take-offs, cost estimates, determine value-engineering, establish conceptual estimates, develop scopes of work, budgets and interact with clients to achieve project awards on single family residential development projects throughout California.

Requires the abilities to work in conjunction with the senior leadership team, business development and construction management personnel throughout the firm for residential construction projects throughout California (San Francisco, North Bay, Sacramento and Los Angeles), Marketplaces. The Chief Estimator will be responsible for all firm estimating activities, group management and establishment of all processes/procedures necessary to efficiently operate a rapidly growing estimating department.

Requires a Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline. Certification as a Professional Estimator (CPE) desired, but not required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Sage or other construction estimating software experience required.
