Senior Estimator - Multifamily Construction

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Estimator to lead estimating efforts and oversee an estimate development group for multifamily residential projects throughout California and the Western United States.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in an estimating role, and a strong track record of project management. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of duties, including:

1. Estimating Leadership: You will be responsible for all aspects of estimating, including reviewing contracts and bids, conducting site walk-throughs, performing quantity take-offs, generating cost estimates, identifying value engineering opportunities, creating conceptual estimates, developing scopes of work, budgets, and engaging with clients to secure project awards for multifamily residential developments.
2. Client Interaction: You will engage with clients to ensure project awards for multifamily residential development projects throughout California and the Western United States. Building and maintaining strong client relationships will be a key aspect of your role.
3. Team Leadership: Working in conjunction with our senior leadership team, business development professionals, and construction management personnel, you will oversee all estimating activities within the firm. This includes managing the estimate development group, establishing efficient processes and procedures, and ensuring the successful operation of a rapidly growing estimating department.

Candidates should have a Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline. Certification as a Professional Estimator (CPE) desired, but not required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities. PlanGrid, Builder Construct or other construction estimating software experience required.
