POSITION OVERVIEW: Our client is looking for a Senior JavaScript Engineer who can work remotely. They prefer someone local to the Boston, MA area, but will consider good candidates from anywhere. This person will be responsible for collaborating with others to design and implement large-scale data.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take ownership and collaborate with customers and team members
- Engineer the product across the full stack from User Experience, Visualization and DevOps to analytics
- Enhance and reshape the product and platform
- Expand multi-platform codebase to drive the automation, management and monitoring of cloud systems
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years in software development with JavaScript and React/Vue.JS/Angular experience
- Networking, hosted cloud based delivery knowledge
- Haml, MySQL, MongoDB, and resque knowledge
- Git, SVN and other experience
- Network protocols – TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, SSL/TLS, UDP, SIP, RTP
- EC2, RDS, S3, and web-scale automation experience
