Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com ) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to oversee K-12 and Higher Education (community college / university) development projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
The ideal individual would have 5+ years of experience in providing management support directly to a portfolio project manager and overall team supervising educational projects; assisting teams in the performance of facilities master planning, design, value engineering, cost estimating, program scheduling, budgeting, permitting, construction, performing quality control and reconciling projects for project closeout and public regulatory compliance.
The Assistant Project Manager will be tasked with coordinating team members to ensure the successful and timely completion of K-12, charter school, community college, university, community recreation and stadium capital / development projects. Responsibilities will include pre-development and implementation assignments that focus on cost estimating, schedule development, consultant procurement, design oversight, construction monitoring, constructability review, budget reconciliations, project documentation, A&E selection management, public approvals / permitting, schedule compliance, and commissioning activities.
The Assistant Project Manager will be the Regional Directors trusted partner in ensuring client satisfaction; including assisting with business development, proposal formulation and client relations as need to secure new work and manage the full life cycle of development (pre-planning through project closeouts). The Assistant Project Manager will be tasked with complete project oversight of development for projects with scopes of work under $10M.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Architecture or related discipline. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
