Procurement Specialist
Job Description
Our government client is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team on a [work arrangement] basis in Ottawa, ON. This role involves managing complex procurement processes, developing bid evaluation criteria, and supporting enterprise software contracts within a federated structure. To be considered, you must have experience with procurement policies and contract management in a government setting.
About you
To be considered, you will need:
- Experience preparing complex bid documents, including Supply Arrangements, Requests for Standing Offers, and Requests for Proposals
- Experience evaluating Statements of Work for completeness and adherence to procurement regulations
- Experience developing bid evaluation criteria for advisory services, Software Asset Management (SAM) best practices, contracted Software Asset Analysts, and SAM tool software
- Experience evaluating bids against mandatory requirements and recommending contract awards or issuing Standing Offers or Supply Arrangements
- Experience performing contract management tasks post-award
- Experience assisting in the development of procurement policies and procedures that align with new SAM workflows and support the federated structure of DND/CAF enterprise software contracts
- Experience providing procurement strategy advice and addressing post-contractual issues related to the SAM program
- Experience supporting priority software procurements as required
If hired, you will:

- Support priority software procurements as needed
