Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Process Automation Engineer in the Chattanooga TN area

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The ability to interpret technical documents, requirements, and design specifications with aggressive attention to detail.
• Ability to read, and understand the following types of industry-standard engineering drawings:
  - System/Network Architecture for Industrial Control Systems
  - P&IDs
  - Electrical Power Wiring Diagrams, including AC (120V) and DC power distribution
  - Grounding Wiring
  - Control Panel Layout and related Bill of Materials
  - Terminal Block Layout
  - Installation Details (control panel assembly)
  - Fabrication Details (sheet metal parts and components)
  - Loop Sheets (per ISA S5.2)
  - PLC/DCS I/O Termination
  - Cable Block Diagrams

Requirements:

Engineering OR computer science degree or revelant experience

• In depth process and automation knowledge
• Previous DCS configuration and programming experience with Emerson PROVOX and DeltaV control systems
• Previous experience with PLC’s, (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, Schneider, etc.) automation/building management control systems
• Experience in an industrial automation project delivery environment
