About you
To be considered, you will need:
  • 5+ years of experience performing installation, upgrade, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, virtualization solutions, and physical hardware on both physical and virtual computers.
  • Experience performing installation, upgrade, configuration, and maintenance of user and group specific software over the network.
  • Able to perform backup and recovery of information systems, including individual machines and complete data centres.
  • Offer first-line troubleshooting support for network infrastructure, connected hardware, and packaged software.
About the role
If hired, you will:
  • Install, configure, and manage DSSTNi system software, hardware, network appliances, and servers, as well as client system software, virtual network appliances, and servers within the DSSTNi cloud.
  • Set up user accounts, build and allocate required virtual machines, and monitor system performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues and system outages, and backup and restore critical DSSTNi systems and data.
  • Support the testing and deployment of new system software releases for use within the DSSTNi cloud.
  • Assist in developing and validating documentation for the above tasks.
  • Perform other system and network administration-related tasks as requested by the TA and agreed to by the contracted resource.
